Lyons-Colling, Marjorie Jean, peacefully at home, in Southampton, after a lengthy illness, on Sunday February 14, 2010. Marjorie Lyons-Colling (nee Baker-Hallett) of Southampton in her 88th year. Wife of the Late Dr. Kenneth Colling and of her first husband the Late Thomas Lyons. Dear mother of Ron Lyons and his wife Delia of Bandon, Oregon, David Lyons and his wife Pamela of Lakefield and Rob Lyons and his wife Karen of Southampton. Proud and loving grandmother of Reid, Jory and Jared all of Owen Sound. Also survived by Kenneth’s children. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Kathleen (Jeffery) Hallett. Artistic, gracious, energetic, generous, elegant, supportive, her loving heart and smile that would light up a room will be deeply missed by all who knew her. At Marjorie’s request there will be no visitation. Cremation. A Time to Celebrate the Life of Marjorie Lyons-Colling will be held in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Thursday February 25, 2010 at 11am. Fellowship and Sharing with the family will follow in the Family Centre of the Funeral Home. Interment of Ashes, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London Ontario. Expressions of Remembrance to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
