Obituary

Thompson, Louisa Pearl (née Crowell), passed away peacefully at the Saugeen Niinigiiwe Hospice, on Sunday June 29, 2025 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Charles Thompson.  Loving mother to Shirley (the late Marshall) Nadjiwon, Linda Wesley and her husband Cliff, Mike Thompson (Ronat John), and Sherry Bennett.

Proud grandmother of Ian (Dolly partridge) Thompson, Ashley Thompson, the late Kevin Thompson, Nathan Thompson, Cheryl, Stacy Wesley, Willie Stevens, Blake (Chailea) Thompson, Raven Thompson, and April Bennett; and great grandmother to Amya, Wesley & Sage, Keira and Kai Thompson.

Predeceased by her parents Donald and Hazel Crowell, daughters Ruby Wesley and Goldie Thompson, son-in-law Robert Thompson, brothers Earl Crowell, Burt Crowell, Roland Crowell, Floyd Crowell, Clayton Crowell, Beverly Crowell, and Donald Briely Crowell, and by her sisters, Alva John, Julia Crowell, and Linda Crowell.

Survived by her brothers Tony Crowell and Rocky Crowell, many nieces & nephews, and her dear friend Bernice Kahgee.

Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Wednesday July 2, 2025 from 12 noon – 2 p.m. A Service for Pearl will begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Saugeen Village Cemetery.
