Obituary
Carol Elizabeth McClay, longtime resident of Eagle Lake, Ontario, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at the age of 82.
Carol spent 38 wonderful years in Eagle Lake before later residing at the long-term care home in Southampton, Ontario. She will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, strength, sense of humour, and the many cherished memories shared with family, coworkers, and friends throughout her life.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Terry McClay, with whom she shared 41 years together. Carol leaves behind her loving children, Tanya and Jarret (Michelle). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to her grandsons Kyle (Ashley), and Ethan, and her Great grandsons Corbin, Grady and Xilo, they brought her endless joy.
She is also survived by her brother, Ralph (Pat) Nichols, along with extended family and many dear friends.
Carol wished for no formal service or celebration of life. Instead, her family asks that you simply take a quiet moment to remember Carol and reflect on the good times and memories shared with her.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered always.
