Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mum Margaret Dianne Sharp (née Klager). She left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.

Dianne passed away on Wednesday February 4, 2026 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Frank Sharp. Loving mother to Dan Foster and his wife Bev and Shawn Foster and his wife Nicole. Extremely proud Grandma of Gracie & Julia, and Riley & Tyler. Dianne will also be remembered by Frank’s family of Kim, Sherry, Craig, Jason, Jill, and all of their families.

Predeceased by her parents Charles & Margaret Klager, and by Dan & Shawn’s father, Stephen Foster.

A devoted teacher by calling and by nature, she believed deeply in the power of learning, kindness, and encouragement. She didn’t just teach lessons from books — she taught life lessons, often without even realizing it. Her classroom, like her home, was a place where everyone felt seen, supported, and valued.

She had a love for all things sparkly and a special place in her heart for the colour purple — fitting symbols for a woman who truly lit up every room she entered. Her laugh was infectious, her smile unforgettable, and her presence comforting. Wherever she went, warmth followed.

Above all else, she was a loving mother and family member whose care knew no limits. Her strength, generosity, and unwavering love shaped the hearts of those closest to her and inspired so many beyond her family.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing her light did not dim — it simply changed form. Her lessons, her laughter, and her love will live on forever.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
