Obituary
Leitch, Sandy passed away peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Sunday March 8, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Helen Leitch (nee McGhee). Proud father of Kathleen LeQuyere (Rick), Thomas Leitch (Jane), and Eleanore Higgins (David). Grandpa Leitch will be sadly missed by grandchildren Eryne (Al), Ashley, Renee (Todd), Rick (Becky), Michelle (Rob), Matt, Linda, Ryan (Tania), Connor, Jessica, Mack, Jennifer, Tyler (Conor) and by his great grandchildren Kyler, Jackson, Aislyn, Kylan, Jenna, Brayden, Avry, Mya, Bryn, Owen, Cole, Kaitlyn, Jordan, and Theo. Survived by his brother Archie (Sandra), by his sister-in-laws May Farrell (the late Jim) and Margaret Davenport (Jim) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John & Mary, by his daughter Barbara Stringer, by his great granddaughter Brylea, and by his sister Christine. A gathering to Celebrate the life of Sandy Leitch will be held at the Southampton Legion on Friday April 17, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. Private interment of Ashes at St. Patrick’s Cemetery Southampton. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Owen Sound Animal Shelter.
