Obituary

Darlene ‘Putty’ Roote left this earthly realm on November 4, 2022. Darlene ‘Putty’ Roote of Saugeen First Nation at the age of 70. Loving mother to Tina Roote. Proud grandmother to Amber Ritchie and Waylon Roote.

Darlene ‘Putty’ leaves behind many friends and family. It brings the family comfort knowing Darlene ‘Putty’ will be reunited with many more on the other side, including her dog, Mikka.

The family invites you to join them for a Celebration of Life at the Saugeen First Nation Recreation Centre Tuesday, November 8th at 2 pm. All are welcome. Her ashes will remain at home with her loved ones following the service.

Darlene ‘Putty’ had a big heart for animals and loved setting them up with forever homes. With this the family requests donation to:  https://www.owensoundanimalshelter.com/programs in lieu of flowers
