Obituary

It is with extreme sadness to announce the death of our beloved mother Lois Graff on Friday December 29, 2023.

Lois was born in Sarnia Ontario on May 6, 1942.  Eldest daughter of Georgina Cammidge and Frank Jackson.  Lois is survived by her sister Sharon (Dave), brother Ted (Dianna), sister Francis (Terry) and brother Dave (Heather).  Lois has 4 children – Karen (Dave), David, Richard (Sandy) and Corinne (Dave).  Lois has 7 grandchildren – Heather, Neil, Christopher, Curtis, Colin, Candace and Brian.  Lois has 4 great grandchildren – Tristan, Maeve, Joseph and Aria.

Lois loved snowmobiling and sports.  Lois loved her Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs.  All her children played hockey.  Lois was very active in the hockey community in West Hill.  She coached, fund raised and was involved in the executive.  Lois was instrumental in starting the 1st girls hockey league in West Hill.

Lois found her passion for music in retirement.  A musician able to play the piano, bass and guitar she was in her glory.  She befriended like minded musicians and was performing with friends via RV get togethers and at events in and around Grey Highlands.  Lois loved to play, sing and dance.

Lois was living her best life.  With her health, independence and out going nature, Lois was doing it her way with friends and family.

Lois our sister, mom, aunt and gramma will be greatly missed!

A Celebration of Life for Lois Graff will be held on Saturday January 13, 2024 2-5 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 308, 271 Bruce St. N., Durham, Ontario.

Please bring your memories to share or write them down to post in the hall.

Bring your instruments and we will try and play a group song for Lois.

Please share any pictures you have to grand daughter, Heather Longhorn @ hslonghorn@gmail.com

Let’s smile, laugh and sing together.

In lieu of flowers – please “pay it forward”.
