Obituary
Toni Daniels
It is with great sadness we share Toni Daniels, beloved aunt, sister, friend has passed away. As Dylan Thomas may have said, she has for the past few years “raged against the dying of the light”, but she did “go gentle into that good night” surrounded by loved ones who held her hand and whispered words of love.
She was the second youngest daughter of Leslie and Thais Daniels and dear sister to Mary (George), Mike (Jan, Patti, Charlene), Blanche (Paul), Pat (Brian) and Rebel (John, Alpha, Jim).
An arts patron, news junkie, former groupie and civil rights activist Toni was a true renaissance woman.
She seemed to have a quiet, magical ability to brighten someone’s day with even the briefest interaction.
The Toronto Beaches girl (born and raised all but 4 years of her life) will be missed more than words can say and remembered with great joy and love.
She will live forever in our hearts, her spirit shining brightest on Christmas Eve.
We are truly grateful to the care she received from Princess Margaret Hospital’s Dr. Yee, Dr. Kaasa, incredible nurses and staff.
Sunday November 16 we will celebrate her life at the GlenErin Inn in Mississauga at 11-1:30. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choosing.
