Obituary

Brill, John Wesley ‘Wes’, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Friday February 21, 2020 at the age of 70. Loving husband to Evalene Brill (nee Majury) of Southampton. Proud father to Wesley and his wife Christine, Craig and his wife Heather, and Tara Brill (Russ Reinwald). Wes will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Thea, Zander, Avory, Samantha, Jennifer, Tarrace and Raya. Survived by brothers, Ted and his wife Pat, Tim and his wife Kathy, by his sister-in-laws, Myrna (Brian), Vi (Wayne), Marie (John), Cheryl, Ilene, and Gail (Ed), by his brother-in-laws, Murray, Dennis, Jack (Bea), and Wayne Koepke, and by many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents John Wesley Sr. & Lois (nee Grasser), by his sister Wendy Koepke, by his sister-in-laws, Stella, Elsie, by his brother-in-laws, Bert and Doug Pringle, and by Ev’s parents Clifford & Myrtle Majury. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to the Celebrate the Life of Wes Brill will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Friday February 28, 2020 at 1 p.m. A Time of refreshment will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Br #155, Southampton from 2-5 p.m. All are welcome at both or one or the other. Interment of Ashes Southampton Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
