Obituary

Wanner, Charles, passed away at the Owen Sound Hospital, on Thursday October 22, 2026 at the age of 83. Beloved husband to the late Joanie Wanner (née Becker). Father to Chuck (Katherine), Robert, and Ryan (Kylie). Proud grandfather of Gabriel, Finnegan, and Lynette.

Survived by his sister Dawn Williams, nieces Joanne and Jennifer, and dear cousin Donna Lee Chambers.

Predeceased by his parents Russell & Gladys, daughter Cheryl, brother-in-law Robert, and by his cousin Harvey.

A Celebration of Life Service and gathering for Charles Wanner will be held at the SouthPort Church, Hwy 21 & 6 Carlisle St. Southampton, on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment of ashes at a later date at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Elgin Legion.
