Obituary

Wallace, Eleanor Jeanne (nee Chester) of Southampton passed away June 16, 2020 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Bruce Gibson Wallace. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughters, Susan Wallace of Airdrie, Alberta, Lori Wallace and her fiancée Brian of Burlington Ontario and Peggy Wallace and her husband Andrew of Queensland Australia. She was a wonderful grandmother to Brandy and Michael Bannister in Alberta and Brian LePage (Samara) and Lindsay Townson (Steve) in Burlington and was able to meet her great granddaughter Audrey Eleanor Townson in April. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Eleanor and Bruce raised 3 daughters in the Greater Toronto Area. Their favourite places were Trooper Lake in Haliburton and Southampton where they retired.  Many happy days were spent and memories made.  Mom loved her family, her many friends and her dogs (and one cat).

Cremation has taken place.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions a celebration of her life will be held when we are allowed to gather.
