Margaret Davenport (nee Draper) of Allenford in her 77th year. Beloved wife and best friend of predeceased Glenn Davenport. Proud mother of Mark (Robyn) and Todd (Christine). Dotting and loving grandmother of Jordyn (Chad), Joshua, Brooklyn, Hailey (Kevin) and Taylor (Zac)

Cherished by her predeceased sisters Mary Jane Haines, Isabel Fisk, Anna Mae McNally and Barb Neath, and by her predeceased brother Robert. Survived by her brother William (Grace) and her dear brother-in-law Jim Neath and sister in law Lois Horton (Ted). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and her dear, lifelong friends.

She will be sadly missed by her ever-present shadow Rosie.

Margie, Grandma Boo-Boo, had a zest for life and a heart full of passions. She found joy in shopping, creating delicious dishes in the kitchen, baking sweet treats that brought smiles to everyone’s faces, and skillfully crafting beautiful crochet creations. Baseball held a special place in her heart. Her love for these activities brought happiness to those around her. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the lasting impact she made on others. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration.

As per Margie’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Margie’s family would like to thank all the nursing staff at the Chapman House Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce. They also would like to thank the nursing staff in the Emergency Dept, 4th and 6th floors at the Owen Sound Hospital and Dr. Shoots, Dr Sunil, Dr. Beski, Dr. Barfoot, Dr. Hodgson, Dr. Fenn and Dr. McIvor for their care, support and compassion throughout her medical journey. Donations in Margie’s memory can be made to Chapman House Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce
