Obituary

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday evening, September 16, 2023, at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital, Southampton, ON. Theresa Gill of Saugeen First Nation #29 in her 75^th year.  Beloved mother of Kam Gill (Ellen) of Ohio, Raj Gill (Sarina) of Casselman, and Mindy Gill-Johnson (Arthur) of Port Elgin.  Cherished grandmother of: Daniel, Noah, Emma, Sophia, and Dominic.

Daughter of the late Oliver and Emma Kahgee. Dear sister of Sharon George, Randall Kahgee Sr. (Eleanor), Robert Kahgee and sister-in-law of Sophia Caudle and Bernice Thompson.

Predeceased by her brothers Richard Kahgee and Oliver Kahgee Jr.; her sisters Leona Lawrence, Barbara Laurin and Patricia Lloyd; and her brothers-in-law David Lawrence, Roderick George and Mike Laurin.

Aunt Barney will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and family friends.

She will be fondly remembered by Sukhjinder Gill and his extended family.

Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Wednesday September 20^th, 2023 from 5-7 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held in Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday September 21, 2023 at 1 pm. Interment of ashes at Saugeen Village Cemetery on Friday at 1 pm.
